  • How many days might it take to fulfill an order?

    Typically one (1) business days is needed for all orders to be fulfilled.

  • How much should I order?

    While there is no exact formula for deciding how much to order, there’s some variables to consider:

    1. Would you like the large of medium size empanadas?
    2. Is the event going to be a meal or a cocktail party?
    3. How many guests in total will you have?
    4. Would you like to add salads, sweets, or sauces to your order?

    Taking these points into account, if the event is going to be a meal, we suggest two of the large empanadas per person and one salad per 15-20 people.

    If, on the other hand, the event is a cocktail party, then we suggest two to three of the medium empanadas per person and possibly some of the small sweets.

  • How do I order?

    You can download the fillable catering form above (or use this link), and send it to orders@elportenosf.com.

    If you have any issues with the form, or questions not answered here, please give us a call at 415-513-4529 and we can take care of your order over the phone.

  • Is there a delivery fee?

    There’s no charge for all SF deliveries over our $150 order minimum. There’s a $35 delivery fee for all deliveries outside of SF proper and for any delivery below our order minimum.

  • Is there a minimum delivery amount?

    Minimum of $150.00 for all deliveries in the San Francisco area.

  • How do I pay?

    We use Square to bill. Once we receive your order, we create an itemized invoice, which is then mailed to you from Square. You can pay directly in the body of the email. You can also pay by check or cash at delivery or pickup.

  • Do you provide discounts to schools and other non-profits?
